Stay healthy during fast

A dietitian will be hosting talks with her top tips on staying healthy during Ramadan.

Community dietitian Salma Mehar from Northwick Park Hospital, in Watford Road, will be hosting talks at Harrow Central Mosque on August 22 and 29 after Juma prayer with the final talk will be in Urdu.

Women Knocked Down By Runaway Car

A 35-year-old woman was knocked down when a car's handbrake failed and the vehicle rolled back into her.

The incident happened in the car park of St George's Shopping Centre in St Ann's Road yesterday (Wednesday) at 4.30pm.

Harrow rush-hour descended into chaos on when a stretch limo burst into flames on a grid-locked road.

Motorists stared in amazement as the luxury white Ford was engulfed in fire outside Tesco, near the Station Road junction with Hinds road, at 6.45pm on Friday (01).

Colne StudiosAn art studio is celebrating its opening with a free exhibition and sale.

Colne Studios, in Vaughan Road, Harrow, is opening its doors between 11am-7pm on Friday (08) until Sunday (10).

Barclays has teamed up with the Harrow Observer Series to give a local charity the opportunity to win cash to help it fullfil its dreams.

It is offering a first prize of s1,000 and two runner up prizes of s500 in the 2008 Let's Do It community awards.
